Refund policy
At CONCEPT LIVING , we take immense pride in crafting timeless, handcrafted solid wood and upholstered furniture. Each piece is uniquely made with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring a blend of beauty, function, and durability.
We want you to love what you purchase — and we also want to ensure clarity, fairness, and transparency when it comes to returns, replacements, and cancellations.
1. General Return Guidelines
Eligibility Period : Returns and exchanges are accepted within 7 days of delivery for eligible items (see non-returnable items below).
Condition : Item(s) must be unused, in original condition, with all original packaging, tags, and documentation.
Request Process : Customers must initiate a return/exchange request by emailing conceptlivingjaipur@gmail.com or via the My Orders section on our website.
2. Non-Returnable / Non-Exchangeable Items
Due to the bespoke nature of some of our offerings, certain items are non-returnable:
- Made-to-Order / Custom Furniture (e.g., custom finishes, dimensions, or upholstery)
- Final Sale or Clearance Items
- Items altered post-delivery (e.g., stained, drilled, re-upholstered)
- Natural wood variation-related concerns (knots, grain variations, color shifts — which are inherent and celebrated features of solid wood)
- Damage due to misuse, improper assembly, or lack of care
3. Return Options
Replacement : We will replace an item only if it arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect. In such cases:
- Notify us within 24 hours of delivery with supporting photographs/videos.
- We will schedule a free replacement or repair depending on the issue and feasibility.
Exchange : One-time exchange is allowed for standard items (non-custom), subject to:
- Inspection upon return.
- Availability of the desired product.
- A reverse logistics fee and restocking fee shall be applicable.
- Mandatory Conditions
Refund :
- For eligible returns, refunds will be processed within 7-10 business days after inspection.
- Refunds will be processed to the original payment method.
- For COD orders, a bank transfer will be initiated.
4. Fees & Deductions
To maintain sustainability and discourage misuse of the return policy:
- Restocking Fee : A 25% restocking fee shall apply for returns that are not due to damage/defect or wrong item supplied.
- Reverse Shipping Charges : If pickup is arranged by us, return shipping costs will be deducted from the refund (unless it's a case of damage or error on our part).
- Packaging Charges : If original packaging is not retained, an additional repackaging charge may be levied.
5. Damages in Transit or Manufacturing Defects
We take utmost care in packaging and quality checks. However, in rare cases of damage:
- Notify us within 24 hours of delivery.
- Share clear photographs/videos of the damage.
- Our team will assess and offer a repair, replacement, or full refund (case-by-case).
Please note:
- Minor variations, knots, marks or imperfections in wood grain, colour, texture or fabric colour & texture are normal and not considered defects and shall not be eligible for returns.
6. Cancellation Policy
- Before Shipping : Orders can be canceled within 24 hours of placing for a full refund.
- After Production Begins : For made-to-order/custom items, cancellations are not accepted once the production starts or will incur up to 25% cancellation fee if accepted at our sole discretion.

7. Return Logistics
- Items must be returned in secure, original packaging. If packaging is unavailable, customer must ensure equivalent protective packing.
- Return pickups are scheduled based on location availability.
- For remote areas, customers may be asked to self-ship the item to our manufacturing unit, and a reimbursement may be issued.
8. Warranty & After-Sales Support
- All furniture comes with a 1-year warranty on manufacturing defects.
- This does not cover natural wear & tear, mishandling, moisture damage, or negligence.

For any concerns beyond the warranty period, we offer paid repair services and support wherever feasible.
9. Policy Abuse Disclaimer
To ensure fairness for all our customers, we reserve the right to:
- Refuse service or future returns in cases of excessive return activity or policy abuse.
- Deny returns/exchanges that do not meet our outlined criteria.
