Terms of Service & Sale

Effective for all orders and use of the Site. Governed by the laws of India

By accessing our website, placing an order, or using our products, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or place an order.

1. About Us

CONCEPT LIVING is a furniture brand owned and operated by Rustic Wood Industries. Concept Living is a brand name only and does not constitute a separate legal entity. All transactions, including sale, invoicing, delivery, and after-sales obligations, are executed by Rustic Wood Industries.

2. Legal Entity

All commercial and legal obligations — including sale, invoicing, production, delivery, warranty, and after-sales services — are fulfilled by Rustic Wood Industries. Any approved refunds shall also be processed by Rustic Wood Industries. Concept Living functions solely as a brand and does not have independent legal standing.

3. Use of the Website

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a legally binding contract to place an order.

You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account details (login, password, device access) and for all activities that occur under your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Site if we suspect misuse, fraud, or violation of these Terms.

The Company shall not be liable for any technical errors, interruptions, website downtime, or loss or damage arising from use of the website.

4. Product Information & Handcrafted Nature

Our products are handcrafted using natural materials such as solid wood, fabric, foam, and metal. As a result:

  • Variations in wood grain, texture, colour, knots, and finish are inherent characteristics of natural materials and shall not be treated as defects.
  • Minor dimensional or finish variations may occur due to handcrafted processes. Each product is unique.
  • Product images on the Site are for representation purposes only. Actual products may differ slightly in shade or appearance due to screen settings, photography lighting, or natural material variation.

We strive to keep all descriptions, dimensions, and specifications accurate, but small variations may occur.

5. Pricing, Taxes & Availability

All prices are listed in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive/exclusive of taxes (including GST) as indicated on the product page and checkout.

Shipping charges, if applicable, will be clearly shown at checkout before you confirm your order.

Prices, offers, and discounts are subject to change at any time without prior notice, but such changes will not affect orders already placed and confirmed. Final pricing shall be as per the invoice issued by Rustic Wood Industries.

Product availability is subject to stock and production capacity. If an item becomes unavailable after you place an order, we may offer an alternative product or cancel the order and issue a refund.

6. Orders & Contract Formation

When you place an order on the Site, it constitutes an offer to purchase the product(s). Your order is considered accepted when:

  • You receive an order confirmation email, and
  • Payment is successfully processed (for prepaid orders), or an advance/full payment is received as applicable.

Customised and made-to-order products shall be processed only after order confirmation. We reserve the right to cancel or refuse any order due to:

  • Incorrect pricing or product information
  • Payment authorisation issues
  • Logistics or serviceability limitations
  • Suspected fraud or misuse

If your order is cancelled after payment, the amount will be refunded as per our Refund Policy.

7. Payment Terms

We accept various payment methods as shown at checkout — online payments, UPI, cards, wallets, and COD where available.

All payments are to be made in favour of Rustic Wood Industries.

For prepaid orders, payment must be completed at the time of checkout. Orders may require advance or full payment depending on the nature of the product.

Production timelines commence after payment realisation.

For Cash on Delivery (COD), where allowed: COD limits and eligibility are at our discretion. Refusal of COD orders without valid reason may affect your future ordering eligibility.

All payments are processed through secure third-party payment gateways. We do not store your full card details on our servers.

8. Production, Shipping & Delivery

Most products are made-to-order and require a defined production timeline. We currently deliver to major cities and towns in India through trusted logistics partners.

Estimated timelines:

  • In-stock / ready-to-ship: 7–14 business days
  • Made-to-order: 4–6 weeks (depending on customisation and location)

These are estimates and may change due to operational, logistical, or other external factors. The Company shall not be liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond reasonable control, including third-party logistics providers. Full details are available in our Shipping & Delivery Policy.

9. Cancellation Policy

Orders for standard items can generally be cancelled within 24 hours of placing for a full refund.

After 24 hours, or once production or shipping has commenced, cancellations may attract cancellation fees.

Custom and made-to-order products are generally non-cancellable once production has begun.

Cancellation charges may apply depending on the stage of the order.

10. Returns & Refunds

Returns are generally allowed within 7 days of delivery for eligible items, subject to product condition, inspection, and applicable restocking fees or logistics deductions.

Made-to-order and customised products are generally non-returnable, except in cases of damage or manufacturing defect.

Any approved refunds shall be processed by Rustic Wood Industries in accordance with our Return & Refund Policy.

11. Warranty

Solid wood and upholstered furniture: generally 12 months against manufacturing defects.

Cushions/foam: limited warranty period as specified in the Warranty Policy.

The following are not covered under warranty:

  • Normal wear and tear
  • Improper use or maintenance
  • Environmental damage (moisture, sunlight, etc.)
  • Natural material variations
  • Commercial use (unless explicitly agreed in writing)

12. Use of Products

Our products are primarily designed for indoor residential use, unless specifically mentioned otherwise.

You agree to follow care and maintenance instructions provided on the product page or with the product.

You agree to use the furniture as intended and not subject it to extreme loads, misuse, or unsafe modifications.

We are not responsible for damage or injury resulting from improper use, careless handling, unauthorised modifications, or non-residential or commercial use unless explicitly agreed in writing.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

CONCEPT LIVING, its owners, employees, and partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of profit, revenue, data, or goodwill.

This applies to claims arising from use of or inability to use the Site, purchase or use of any product, delays in delivery, defects not directly attributable to our negligence, website downtime, or any third-party service failure.

Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to a product or service will not exceed the amount paid by you for that product or service.

Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under applicable Indian consumer laws that cannot be excluded.

14. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site — including text, images, graphics, logos, designs, product descriptions, and layout — is the intellectual property of Rustic Wood Industries / CONCEPT LIVING or its licensors.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any content without our prior written consent.

You may use the Site and its content only for personal, non-commercial purposes related to browsing and purchasing our products.

15. User Content (Reviews, Feedback, Photos)

If you submit reviews, feedback, images, or other content ("User Content") on the Site or via our social channels:

  • You grant CONCEPT LIVING a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, worldwide licence to use, reproduce, modify, and display such content for marketing and promotional purposes.
  • You confirm that the content is your own (or you have the right to use it) and that it does not infringe any third-party rights or contain defamatory, offensive, or illegal material.
  • We may remove or edit User Content at our discretion.

16. Third-Party Links & Services

The Site may contain links to third-party websites or integrate with third-party services (payment gateways, logistics tracking, etc.). These are provided for your convenience. Third-party service providers are independent entities.

We do not control and are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or policies of third-party sites.

The Company shall not be held liable for delays, failures, or errors caused by such third parties.

You access third-party websites and services at your own risk.

17. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless CONCEPT LIVING, its owners, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of:

  • Your use of the Site or products in violation of these Terms or any applicable law
  • Your breach of any representation or warranty made by you
  • Any third-party claim arising from your User Content or misuse of the Site or products

18. No Professional Advice

Any design suggestions, recommendations, or consultations provided by CONCEPT LIVING are advisory in nature only and do not constitute professional architectural or structural advice. Customers should seek qualified professional advice for structural or load-bearing decisions.

19. Changes to These Terms

We may update or modify these Terms from time to time.

Changes will be effective when posted on the Site with an updated "Last updated" date.

Your continued use of the Site or placement of orders after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

We encourage you to review this page periodically.

20. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. In case of any dispute, the courts at Jaipur, Rajasthan shall have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to applicable consumer protection laws.
